The fire of anger may feel powerful
in the moment,
but in the next moment
it weakens the spirit,
for it is not based on truth,
but on the need to feel more powerful.
This need is based on helplessness,
the wish to avoid it
and the fear of becoming it.
Give helplessness to God.
Let it be healed within the
Divine mandate for life.
For all that appears helpless
serves a Divine purpose,
and all that redeems helplessness
through love for the Divine
sets us free.
