Contentment does not lay in events
and circumstances with which we
surround ourselves.
These give rise to a feeling of
contentment at moments,
only to disappear in the next moment
when circumstances change.
How much better to seek the source
of contentment within ourselves
that never varies and never changes.
This contentment comes as the truth
of our Divine nature,
our everlasting connection with all that is.
