Snowflakes falling past my window,
Painting everything in white,
Covering the trees and meadows,
With a beauty pure and bright.
If I had a pair of horses,
And a carriage fit for kings,
If I had a million jewels,
Emeralds, and diamond rings,
If I had both fame and fortune,
Worldly power, even so,
I would trade it in a minute,
For the gift of fallen snow.
