'Om Namo Bhagavate' honors the Divine Self within all,

making no distinctions based on appearance,

or wealth, or belief,

making no distinctions of 'like' or 'dislike'.

We bow in our hearts to the One who is above,

the Creator of all,

and to the One who is within, the Being or Essence of all.

In the presence of the Divine, one cannot help but bow,

for bowing recognizes the infinity of the infinite

and the beauty of the beautiful.

In the presence of the Infinite,

awe and reverence awaken.

In the presence of the beautiful,

love is born.

Om namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya

O Supreme Being,

I bow to your Divine Essence which dwells within all beings.

Your beauty is reflected in every form.

Your sacred life lives within each soul as a Divine flame.

O Holy One,

'Namo' is more than a word, it is a way of life,

a gesture of reverence toward that which is most sacred.

The oceans of the world hold not as many drops as

there are beings within the infinity of Your universes.

The fishes, and animals, and birds of the world in their

many forms and species celebrate the many faces of

Your oneness.

Who can count the stars in the sky or the galaxies that are

forever being born and dying?

What You have created is beyond measure.

It is beyond the beyond in every way that can be

conceived, or known, or felt.

The mind cannot grasp the vastness that You are,

yet we are part of that vastness as a drop is part of

the sea that contains it.

When the time comes, all shall worship at the footstool of

the sacred in its many forms,

all shall bow before the beauty of the One Source

that lives within and beyond.

We shall sing praises to the trees and to the wind...

We shall honor the most holy -

the Source of life.
