Star poems were written as a meditation on the presence of God that is visible and tangible within the star formations themselves. These images can reveal to the soul the Divine creative process that originally gave birth to the stars - a process that has not ended, but that continues in the perpetual unfoldment of new stars, nebulae, and galaxies within the infinite universe. To meditate upon the stars, whether in images or directly, is to know and feel the holy Presence of God that is everywhere.
