Beloved Children of the Light,
The Power of Consciousness
We are one living organism - one shared fabric of life and light existing within the matrix of physical matter. We may look, speak, act, and think as if we were separate, yet, indeed, everything we do has consequences for all others.

As the movement toward awakening increases on the planet, we become aware of our relationship with each other in a deeper way, and of the inseparable quality of our mattering to the rest of life. No longer can we think of ourselves as small or insignificant, but must now learn to think of ourselves as necessary, essential, and linked to the greater Life of which we are a part. We can no longer retreat into the shadows of maintaining a personal life that is separate from the rest, one in which our concerns are nobody else's, but come to understand that there is no such thing as 'personal' concerns that do not affect the totality of all that is. There is no such thing as a life lived separately from every other.
This dawning awareness of interconnectedness can grow deeper and deeper in the heart, mind, and body as light awakens us to truth. As part of this progression, both love and responsibility are awakened - love for the perfection of life that flows through every soul, through every rock, through every living creature, and responsibility to share ourselves and to contribute to the beauty and wholeness of Life. This responsibility and love means that we must take possession of our consciousness in a new way. We must feel, think, and act as if what we do matters all of the time. It is not that we are being watched or judged in any way. It is that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are powerful in the energetic effects they create. These effects ripple out from us and have an influence on entire universes. It is for this reason that we must become more responsible for our consciousness. When we choose to be unconscious, we are choosing to view ourselves as insignificant or invisible. We are choosing to not be aware that we are inextricably connected to others, whether we are thinking of them or not. When we choose consciousness, we are saying "yes" to life and to the healing of suffering in the world in whatever ways we may contribute to that outcome.
We are one living organism - one shared fabric of life and light existing within the matrix of physical matter. We may look, speak, act, and think as if we were separate, yet everything we do has a consequence for all others. We may not see this consequence, but it is there.
The power of our being is a gift of Creation, one that has not yet become fully unfolded and one that will make itself increasingly known as we awaken to the truth of the spiritual behind the physical, the energetic behind the material. When it becomes entirely clear that all of life involves energy currents in motion that weave together or that create greater separation, and that thought and feeling play a large part in the movement of these energy currents - we will know that who we are makes a difference to the world, who we are is counted.
This power of our being is one that is given to us in sacredness for us to cherish, protect, uphold, and share. It is a gift of Life to our individual lifestream that flows in two directions, from the greater Life to the smaller, and from the smaller to the greater.
May all beings come to know the sacred power they hold to choose consciousness on behalf of all of life.
